MAD FOR MONOCHROMATIC

Yesterday I posted a sea foam space designed by BNOdesign and today I couldn't help but share a little peek inside the bedroom.
Admittedly I'd never want a bedroom like this in my home, but I am still very drawn to it.

Though the pink is bright, using the color monochromatically makes it work more like a neutral. No contrast colors to call extra attention to it, no busy patterns to excite the eye, no big moments of tension. Just an apologetically feminine space that's as sophisticated as it is girlie.

I think it's interesting how in the last image there is an artwork behind the sheer panel. This adds to the etherial feel of the room making the whole space more subtle....even for pink. ~best

I think this image makes for a great inspiration photo, and one that might pose a pretty piece, framed in our sleeping space.

Cheers!

In one shot in looks too much of a pink. But pink being my favorite color, I can take my eyes off it. The fur quilt looks extremely cute.
