Style 360º: a Fashion Force + her Stylish Sanctuary

With New York Fashion Week underway, each night I head over to style.com to check out the latest Spring 2010 RTW collections posted for the day! There's so much gorgeousness, a part of me wants to skip over fall and head right into spring! While thumbing through the collections, Cynthia Rowley's line caught my eye. It's ultra fem and totally wearable (not like some of that outlandish stuff we see that no real person can actually wear). I'm especially loving her fun shoes with oversized bows!
As is true for most fashion designers, Cynthia can also style a home with just as much ease and glamour. You may remember her Manhattan home from Elle Decor awhile back, but just in case, here's a second look at her beautiful abode.
To have a collection like that and live in a home like this....a girl can only dream ;)

First of all, I love bows. Sounds too girly, but when done right, they are great! I also love her house!

I wanted to tell you that even though I don't often comment, I love reading your posts. Even when I'm just skimming through my Google Reader, I always slow the flow so I can see the beautiful things you've posted about. Thank you for being a great writer with an eye for beauty!

Ahhhhh. I really love her spring collection. I am especially loving the jewel tones that are also spring-like. That green dress! Drool! I remember seeing her home in Elle Decor a while back. I love that stunning mural on the dining room wall.

I was dying over those shoes last night. Boyfriend didn't quite understand what all of the squealing was about. Pssh.

This is so pretty -- it's so nice to view her collection and her home, as yes, there is definitely a connection! A lovely one at that :)

I like the easy floppy flair of her bows and the flow of her clothes. They sit lovely in all of the right places, and offer a sense of fun. (especially in her asymmetrical pieces) I like that about her, and find her home to be warm and interesting.

I adore that flower print dress on the top row... despite knowing I wouldn't look good wearing it. But on a model... yes.

Those shoes with big bows are just so dainty and charming. I normally lag a few minutes behind New York Fashion Week but I'm already working on attaching bows to all my fancy shoes.
