2009 Sucked A**!

I love the tradition of sending holiday cards in December! It's one of the few times we actually make time for handwritten mail anymore so when choosing mine I like to put a little extra thought into it. Usually I go with something pretty, but this year I might just have to add a touch of humor and surprise my friends with something cheeky instead!

These "2009 Sucked Ass" holiday cards from Amy's Etsy shop had me smiling...big time! How fun would it be to catch your loved ones off guard with one of these! I bet you'd get a smile out of them. Now, if you don't think Grandma would appreciate the humor, you can always go with something a little more like this:

But hurry...these things are going quick my friends!

Season Greetings!

I love these. They made me laugh. 2009 wasn't such a bad year for me though: made it into grad school, got myself a cute boyfriend, moved to a new city. And yet, I miss my NYC desperately. So yes, maybe it sucked just a bit.

@Brandi: Congrats! It sounds like 2009 definitely had some good for you!

PS. It wasn't such a bad year for me either :)

Love those cards. And to be honest with you, 2009 was a rough year. Hope 2010 is better.

Crystal -
I saw this post in your linked-within today... dangerously late to the party, I had no idea you blogged about my cards!

How embarrassed am I?

You're a dear. Belated thanks for your generous post.
