Last night I spend a good portion of my evening browsing Kristin's beautiful blog, Discover: Interior Design. Kristin has a fantastic series called "At Home With..." where we get sneak peeks into other bloggers' homes. Have you ever noticed those are always the most popular posts? I think it has something to do with voyeurism.
Anyway, I was so inspired when I saw this sneak peek into Courtney of Kelly + Olive's home. I love the overlapping square wall pattern she created for her guest room. What a great DYI idea! All you need is some paint, a little painter's tape, and a bit of patience and you've got a very fun, graphic accent wall!
To browse more blogger sneak peeks, you can check out the ones I've hosted right here on Plush!

My favorites blogs show me other people's houses. Don't get me wrong - I love magazines & books too, but to see how a real person lives & decorates is the stuff for me!
We have 2 historic brick streets in my very small town & I love to drive down them at night where you can get a glimpse into their style. Now I sound like a weird window peeper - I swear I'm not!
This is a pretty wall. My guest room is my most boring room--guess I never want to impose too much of my style on them (which is funny considering they're staying in my house). It's still an all white room with white furniture, sheets, bedding. Okay this has got me thinking...thanks Crystal!
xo
I love how that turned out and especially the colors used.
oh i like that! its fantastic. so mild but different. happy new year!
Oh fabulous- a lot of time and patience would be need for this DIY, though! :)

Yes, sneak peaks are fun! I like the mint color of that wallpaper too: it goes well with the pattern without being too much in your face. :)
this is so very cool and takes a bit of patience but the end result is so worth it!! Great post!
This would be a great way to add some visual texture in my bathroom instead of going with the bolder paint I was thinking of. Really love this. Hmmmm....
Definitely inspirational! What a great alternative to wallpaper! Love it!
wow! you've got a great blog! I love this diy idea. Not sure I have the skill or the patience though ;)
That wall is great. I always admire people who have the skill and patience for that kind of DIY.
I love that square pattern, it's so unique and fun! Have a great New Year's Eve, Eve!
holy shucks that is awesome!!
I think the voyeurism is the reason I like blogs so much. Does that make me sound creepy? I like to hear about people's gripes and obstacles, it makes me feel normal. And their projects and good days motivate and inspire me.
I love the squares, very modern and pretty!
oh, thanks for posting this crystal! what a fun surprise to see it in my reader. i actually just moved out of that apartment (and into my first home) and was so so sad to paint over it (my landlord had asked me NOT to paint. yeah, right.) just last week. it's such a satisfying project, peeling the tape off literally made me squeal with delight.
anyway, love your blog, and thanks again for the sweet mention!
What a great wall design, and that lamp is awesome! I would place a contrast fabric on the shade though just to pop it up a bit! Thanks for sharing the site, off to view more:)
