Eye on Style: Lili Diallo

I'm completely smitten by the work of Lili Diallo, set designer and prop stylist extraordinaire. She gets to do the fun stuff - pretty up a space before it's photographed. How much would I love that job? LOTS!
And aren't these hanging pendants simply fantastic? Matched with the checkered tablecloth in the first, I love it for its humorous mix of country traditional and modern futuristic. What a fun combination! The different graphics and geometric in the second one is what grabs my attention next. It'd be so easy to get lost in all those shapes and patterns, but Lili manages to keep it in line with a simple color scheme that ties it all together: the always lovely blue and white.

It's no wonder she used to be a stylist for Domino (back when there was a Domino). That magazine seemed to do everything best!

Ooooo! I really, really like this collection of images. Image 01 and 03 are my favorites -- the purple room is both comforting and vibrant. The luggage color of the chairs is such a great offset to the purple. (those curtains are to DIE for!)
