Home Is Where the Heart Is

Home is where the heart is - whether that means traveling there, staying where you already are, or creating it someplace new - wherever you are in the world, I truly hope your heart feels at home this holiday season.

Home to me is a place where I can be myself, get cozy and comfortable, share laughter and tears with friends and family or just as easily retreat and enjoy time alone. But perhaps my fondest memories of home happen around the dining room table, sharing meals with loved ones. So today I'm wishing you delicious holiday food to feed your soul and beautiful tabletops to inspire your creativity!

Food really has so much to do with the holidays for my family, too. Wishing you all the best this Christmas! xo

(Love the house in the first photo!)

Mille grazie for stopping by my blog so that now I can come and enjoy yours as well! It's just lovely. I agree, the best part of home is always the kitchen and the dining table, isn't it.

The imagery in you blog is beautiful and inspirational. I am going to start designing a third room in my little B&B in a few weeks, so I am coming back here for ideas.

Have a beautiful holiday with your friends and loved ones.

The front of that home is absolutely breathtaking & the table is fabulous as well! Family is what makes our holidays so special. Laughing with each other & definitely enjoying some food! Not too mention my grandma's house was built for Christmas decor - it's not the same when we aren't there!

What amazing photos, and what a house!

Home to me is where I can wear pajamas all day and no one bats an eye.

Home is where I can excuse myself to take a nap and that's ok.

Home is where we all play board games at night and laugh when we catch each other cheating.

Home is where my family is.

The black and white house is gorgeous! I really like that stark color combo used for exteriors- It's both contemporary and classic.

Wishing you season's greetings from the sunny Caribbean!
