More piping to follow this morning's post. I like it on a bed, but after coming across this lovely photo tonight, I might even love it more on a tablecloth! What do you think?
I agree, this is gorgeous! It gives it a rustic feel somehow, I love it. With the elegance of the glassware and flowers, the piping makes it a bit more casual and just lovely!
The rooms you show are lovely and elegant. Just a note for those of us with these interests: "piping" is a strip of fabric, often filled with cord, that is inserted into a seam. The cord can be very thin string to fat cord. The piping cover can be smooth or ruched (gathered). What you are showing is a band of fabric or ribbon laid on top of fabric and sewn down to it, or appliqued to it, not inserted into a seam. What you show can be described as "banded" instead of "piped." It seems like there may be another word but right now it has slipped my mind.
What a stunning and lovely blog sweetie! I am in love with your eye for design and connection to other blogs. You are my new blog crush! Come stop by for a slice of San Francisco...

great picture find!! I too love this look and it is a super easy DIY!
I love that tablecloth. I've had some luck finding similar ones on Linen Me on Etsy. Such a great, classic, clean look. Timeless.
luv it
Very chic!
Love it. Clean and classic!
Like the piping on the tablecoth but adore the top of the table. How does one get invited to THAT dinner party!
PS - love the bedlinen piping slightly more I think!
Very pretty posts today, Crystal! :)
I hope you are feeling much better, Crystal. Rest easy this weekend!

It's lovely - the piping draws attention and gives definition, but just look at that magnificent chandelier. I'm very sad that it's not mine.
I am a fan of piping, always! I have to agree with the poster above me, though... the chandelier is what really caught my eye here.
I love the streamlined look of the tablecloth paired with the grandious chandelier ~ great combo
Happy Friday doll ~
I love it, It adds a down-to-earth element to the otherwise uhum... silvery-cristally table. I´d love to see what ELSE they have in that house....
