Need a little something to wake you up this morning and kick start your day! This room is doing the trick for me!
I'm dying to try something crazy like zebra inspired walls myself one day. Of course, it'd call for a similar print-free sofa and neutral area rug to balance out the crazy with a bit of calm. When dealing with prints like these on such a large scale, it's a fine line not to be crossed. But designer Robin Bell walks that line with total precision and perfect balance! I love it!
What's your favorite element in the room?

The zebra walls are fun but I'd have to say my favourite element would be the ornate mirror. Don't know if I could do a busy pattern on a really large scale - my mind is always so busy I think I need the clean white walls to calm me down :)
I suffer from animalprintitis - so I'm LOVING the zebra walls. My 2nd favorite thing is the coffee table. I usually am not a wood person, but I am digging that piece a lot in this room!
I love zebra but I think I could only get away with a chair or rug...the walls are great, I just don't know if I would have the courage!
Fabulous!!!
I love that coffee table! I'm soon to be a first time home owner and your blog has given me so many great ideas on how to decorate all of my new spaces. Thank you!!
I love your blog!! I am obsessed with home (well apt, lol) decor!!
That Harlem apt post is so inspiring ;-)
XOXO

Love these walls now I want to do it!
I'm loving the coffee table. (And that's a sweet little sofa too.) You're right, you don't need any coffee to wake up in this room!
Whoa! That is pretty crazy! But also so awesome in a very glamorous way!

i wish i were brave enough to do that! only in my dreams. i could never execute it so perfectly as it was done in that photo.
Hi there! Happy New Year, great paper it made my day! Sharon xx
The coffee table would be my first pick
I love those zebra print walls! It's like a rush of energy just looking at them!
This room takes my breath away. In a good way. I love the wild, exotic aspects (zebra, faux tortoise table, orchids) balanced by the reserved (silk, gilding, orchids). Thank you, my dear Crystal!
I like this room, even if the print is a little more bold than I would usually go for. I think it's very fun. Also, that built-in is so ideal -- clean and crisp -- a great breather.
And then, of course, there is that divine mirror! Do you think we could open a store together, and sell nothing but the most fabulous mirrors?
xo
I have a thing for zebra print. Probably due in part to my name starting with Z but it's mostly the bold contrast.
In college my apt had Victorian details with panel molding on the bottom half of one of my living room walls. So I inset zebra print fabric inside the panels behind our sofa and left the rest of the wall white (we were not allowed to paint). When I moved I was able to remove the fabric easy peasy (I had used a staple gun).
Definitely well done and I agree anymore print and it would be a little too busy for my taste. Cool space!
I love animal print but I don't know if I would cover all the walls with it. It may make me dizzy. The room is well designed in my opinion. Everything else is simple and orderly against the graphic wallpaper. That is a wonderful eye!
