For all you Chicagoans out there, we have our very first West Elm in The Windy City! Today, the Lincoln Park location (1000 W. North Ave.) officially opens its doors to the public! I have long turned to West Elm when in need for something fresh and modern, but up until now my purchases (this, these, and these) have come via the website. I'm thrilled I can now shop the collections in person! Here's a look at some of my favorites from West Elm:
I have been dreaming of sectionals lately. They are so versatile and perfect for big parties or movie night lounging! The Blake Sectional is my top pick!
White ceramics. I can't get enough of them! I have my own personal collection building and can't wait to add these to the group!
Though definitely a departure from my usual style, I am drawn to these Wrap Dining Chairs. I adore the modern wingback silhouette for something unexpected.
Round mirrors are definitely on trend right now, and this one makes a great statement! I love the multicolored rim in rich hues for a strong outline.
Every room needs a rug and West Elm's selection does not disappoint. I'm thinking of trading in my sisal one for something with a strong graphic pattern like this. I could look at that beautiful beautiful motif day after day...

West Elm always has such clean looking designs. Perfect building blocks for whatever style you choose. I adore those yellow chairs!
Congrats! I guess I've been lucky having one NYC. It's one of my faves. Happy shopping!!!
Those chairs! That rug! Also loving that wooden geometrical stool/table!
Thank goodness for West Elm!
ooh i love those wrap around dining chairs!
How fun is West Elm!? I really like the Blake sectional too and that round coffee table.
Crystal, I love West Elm and the one near me is closing!! Lucky you though!! Karena
How exciting! They have some great pieces...that little cheerful dining set is fantastic, as is that lounger and rug :)

I'm so very excited! I had to miss the press breakfast and grand opening, but I will be there soon enough to shop my heart out :)
So fun we're getting one in L.P. I just discovered this place when I had to haul out to Oakbrook to World Market, on a mission for a certain throw pillow. I was so exhausted I didn't go in, but came home and looked at the website. Very interesting. I'll have to actually go in when I'm that way next!
Thanks so much for the invite to this event. I still wish I could have seen it with you! And I'm also a huge fan of the Blake sofa. :) If you need a cheaper version I got a great very similar sofa at Roy's Furniture on Sheffield.
Can't wait to see you tonight!
So jealous! I love their goodies. I have a few things too, but like you have always had to shop online.
Happy Shopping!
Love West Elm for those certain things they do so well.
