What Do You Love?

Last night I found myself browsing the archive of Belle Vivir and happened upon this utterly gorgeous home. There is so much I love about it that I don't know where to start! But today, I'd like to try something different....

Since you never cease to amaze me and catch the little details I've missed, instead of me listing off the things that excite me about this home, I'd like to hear about what you love!

Oh my Deer! There's a chandelier in EVERY room! How perfect and castle-like is that!? I love this entire home as well. The colour palette is gorgeous. It does remind me a bit of Alice in Wonderland. The chandeliers, the wallpaper, the black and white tile floor, the shabby metal chairs, the white cabinets with tiny window-panes, the enormous white sofa and the bent wall in teh dining room. Love it all! Thanks fro sharing this. I think I'm going to reblog this some time soon.

Absolutely gorgeous. I'm in love with the big black painting in the dining room. What a bold statement!

Best interior I've seen in a long time! The curved wall with that accent lighting on the floor in the dining room is unreal. The glassed in butlers pantry in the kitchen is tdf! and the clever way the bathroom is divided by the shower curtain, complete with shelves by tub, creating a little nook is so divine! In love!

Omg, this is an utterly stunning looking house. That kitchen is my favorite space. The mix of black and white interiors, gorgeous. That flooring explained it all. And i like the wall paper in the dining. Am going a little crazy over all the chandeliers im seeing as well.

I love the last picture - of the bathroom. But the black and white kitchen is so dramatic and eye catching.

I adore the concept of a door in the kitchen that leads to another kitchen/prep/storage space. Best detail? The black and white floor with the black and white wallpaper and corded phone. Great images! Marija

What a fab home! I could see myself dining in that space. And the kitchen, what gorgeous place to cook from!

As the first person said, I love that there's a chandelier in every room! Haha! That's almost over the top, but I think it looks great.
I like the combination of black and white cabinets in the kitchen. A lovely continuation of the black-and-white checkered floors. Also the floral wallpaper in combination with the black and white floors is really original - a great example of combining patterns in a single decor.
Good stuff!!

i think i could go on all day but i'll leave you with my thoughts on my two favorite spaces.

top image: the rounded walls, the simple moulding on the ceiling, the more intricate detail of the door, the hexagonal dining table, that gorgeous natural light, and the more-than-floor-length curtains.

and the last: the shiny backsplash, the pedestal sink, the unconventional shower curtains, the hardware on the tub, the very fact that the bathroom has a chandelier.

so much inspiration! i love the way you turned it around — it really forced me to take a closer look and figure out exactly what attracted me to each space. great idea, crystal!

Loved the distressed black oven wall, velveteen dining room chairs, antique mirror tiles in the bathroom, hides on the floor, and of course, the old telephone on the chair!!

The first thing that struck me was the wallpaper in the first photo--it appears to be art wallpaper like a friend of mine started--one of the few people in the world who do it. I love the otherworldy quality of it even if it's not by an art star, it looks like it is. Hope you are having a wonderful week Crystal!

Wow how beautiful! I had posted on that bathroom a little while ago and just feel in love. But now seeing the whole house ... just gorgeous. Great find!

So many beautiful things have been pointed out! I think my favorite (hard to choose just one) is that big wallpapered wall in the dining room. Striking!

What do I love? I love every one of these pictures. I love black and white and everything in between (gray, silver, haze, fog, cream...all my neutrals). I love all those empty frames on the wall (as I sit here and look up at my collections of 20 in my living room) and I love that wallpaper. Delicious!
