We're all so happy the weather is warmer and the days are longer, but I have to say, there is one thing I don't like about spring and summer: having to put away my beloved darks in favorite of lights...
Here's a perfect example of how dark and dramatic can be worked into a cheery mood for spring. Just pair it with something colorful and balance out with white and you'll be good to go! And obviously, this goes for home decor and fashion too, so try it out and let me know how it goes ;)

Lovely -- there are so many great details within this table setting. I really like the tall, thin vases, with the tiny flowers sitting at the top. I also like the way the napkins have been places, and the chairs. Chic, but fun.

That is gorgeous! I love the bright colors against a dark backdrop. Looks like a lovely event to have attended.
Absolutely gorgeous..loved it!!
The dark cover really makes the flowers POP! :)
I just love this look, obviously;)
beautiful... the black really is a great background for the colors of the flowers...
I'm liking the look...the bamboo chairs, the napkins with the menu placed on it, the floral arrangements, etc...beautiful...very striking!
So springy!

Love everything about this setting! The flowers give just the right amount of pop.
Love these images. I love dark with pops of spring colors. I think we have had so much of the neutral time worn look that we are craving some color and cheer. They say it goes along with the economy and we all could use a little sunshine on that count also so maybe it is true what they say. Great post!
