Beachy Cool

On a morning like this when I'm utterly exhausted from the weekend and not quite ready for it to be Monday, escaping to a beach home like this sounds heavenly.
Soft colors that make a stand in the most elegant of ways? A place where the line between inside and out is blurred into one happy convergence of the elemental and decorative? Yes, please!

I need a weekend from my weekend, and this place fits the bill for the lazy beach day I'm dreaming up in my head...

Ohhh I agree...Monday mornings are seriously the WORST. Especially when you have stayed up until 3 am watching/discovering the wonder that is Glee. So tired. Take me to this magical beach home...please!

I would take a beach vacation today in a heartbeat.

It's so nice and sunny here today that it's depressing just sitting working away and not outside working on my tan.

Hmmm...a beach day could be only a few weeks away for you IF you're planning on taking a trip to the beach while you're in CA :) ! Lilacs in the fireplace = divine!

Such relaxing spaces! It's a shame that we have to get away from home to find that! (most of the time, anyway)

Such pretty spaces... they have a touch of proper without being near stuffy. I really like the unique color combination in image 01 — great finds, Crystal! Hope your week (and Summer) is off to the perfect start :)

Sarah

I love these photos, especially the pink ikat, which I've been wanting to add to my home for the longest time. Very calming!
