DETAILS ALL AROUND

What makes a space special? More often that not, it's the details all around.
The exquisite black detailing on the floor makes such a splash it's hard to imagine the space without it.

What a lovely reminder that decorative art can be found all around...even on the ground we walk upon.

Love the design on the floor...I guess it's mosaic tile? I'm in the idea stages for painting an old wood parquet floor, and this give me inspiration.....

I'm pretty sure this apartment is in Milan -- think I recall seeing it on palazzo pizo...but I don't know the exact source, believe the owner ws an artist.
I love that first vignette with the brushes and array of artwork, such a sleek kitchen too. Those euros just know their style...

Cheers, Alcira

That mosaic! Divine.

And I have such an obsession for brilliant home libraries...I think I spy one straight through the hall, no?

{Sigh} Too much over which to drool!
