A LITTLE BREAK

I don't think I've ever disappeared on this blog for so long without any explantation. I'm so sorry for that. The ironic thing is that I was at a blogger conference and yet I couldn't find the time to blog. The truth is that this month is the busiest I've ever had and I'd be lying if I said I just couldn't wait for it to be over.
Between launching a new issue of Rue (on Thursday!), moving across the country to San Francisco next week, preparing presentations for two big speaking engagements in the coming days, and of course an upcoming trip to NYC for our Issue 3 launch party, I'm exhausted through and through.

While at ATL, the blogger conference I was part of last week, I realized that it's better to take a rest then to just throw up content in a hasty manner here on the blog - anything less just wouldn't be fair to you nor to me.
So if you don't mind, my dear readers, I'm going to take the pressure off of myself for the next two weeks during my move and hectic schedule, and take a little break here on Plush Palate.
I'm be popping in periodically with fun announcements and such, but I'll pick back up with my regular daily postings on Monday Feb. 7th when the craziness is behind me and I'm safe and sound in my new city.

Thank you so much for understanding!

xo,
Crystal

It was so great to meet you at ALT. I totally understand about the pressures of blogging. You do have a LOT going on right now so don't stress yourself out :) Good luck with all your adventures and thanks for your tips on twitter. I'm totally inspired to get better at it after our roundtable.

I'm feeling much the same way lately- sometimes this whole blogging thing, along with all of the events etc. surrounding it, gets very very busy!! Happy that things will be slowing down a little for you soon!!

Your life sounds exhausting just reading about it online and listening to you talk about everything on the skirted round table. I love everything you do with your blog and with Rue. A little break is much deserved. Happy moving/packing/starting a new life!
