Hello lovelies! The move was a success and I'm finally up and running with internet in the new place. Oh, how I've missed the blog and visiting all of you! I want to thank everyone for the well wishes over the past week. To be honest, Saturday was nothing short of a hell day (since I decided not to hire movers to save a little $$ - hopefully, I'll never make the same mistake again). But thank goodness for my helper! After twelve hours of hard labor, with bruises and sore muscle to prove it, we finally called it a night at around 8pm...and promplty crashed!
Now, it's on to the fun part....decorating! And first on my list is a new bed. I was super set on a tufted headboard for the longest time, but have found myself falling in love with pencil post beds lately. I have an appointment to check one out today after work at a great price. It looks a lot like these, what do you think?

Very stylish beds, especially in white - plenty of scope for experimenting with your own fabric draping touches with one of them. Glad you are all settled and orderly again; moves are always much worse than you imagine.

Hi Crystal, I, like you, have had my heart set on a tufted headboard for awhile now, but I keep waffling back and forth between wood and covered myself. I like the pencil post beds a lot, but with 8' ceilings, I wonder if it's the wisest choice for me! Do you have high ceilings? If so, it's an easier choice for you!

I have a dark wood one at home and I do love it but these are motivating me to upgrade my bedding!

I like that these beds are so bold, yet unintrusive. They make a statement, but in a quiet way...you can accessories them or not, and look fabulous at all angles, especially in the center of a room!

This is my favorite style of bed. It's bold, a little masculine, but sort of romantic. I'm a fan.
