Calming Effect

After yesterday's big and bold post, I'm feeling the need for softer colors, subdued tones, and calming spaces. Oh how I wish I could live in a colorful, vibrant, high cool-factor home, but at the end of the day, spaces like these will always reign supreme in my heart...
Wishing you a lovely, restful weekend my friends!

xo, Crystal

Thank you for your lovely comment today, Crystal! These spaces are just as gorgeous as yesterday's colourful delights, but in a different way. This is the kinda place I'd like to have a long, lazy lunch with a big group of friends! Very stylish. Have a wonderful weekend! Will xoxo

I am loving the lighting - the metal spotlight table lamp, and that giant lampshade of a chandelier. This space has a nice mix of the modern and the traditional. I would LOVE to be invited to that table for a meal!

Boy can I ever identify with that, I love bold beautiful color when I look at other people's spaces, but at the end of the day I love coming home to my rather monochromatic palette. It's so soothing! Love this post.

What a gorgeous space. It is so peaceful and serene. I love how that console behind the sofa adds that extra oomph of warmth.
Hope you have a great weekend too!

And no doubt—so so beautiful and timeless! I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Crystal—and maybe a bit of time to relax and spoil yourself. You have been working so hard—you deserve it...

Sending hugs your way,

I'm with you. While I adore a bright, colorful room, the ones I create for myself are very muted with lots of white, cream, tan, mocha and grey. I guess I feel most peaceful that way, but I am venturing out and creating a home office with yellow!
