Two Bathrooms I love

And let me tell you why...
Because this is such a novel idea. Never have I seen anything like it. Ledges wrapped around the perimeter of a space in an enveloping yet light and airy way. Evenly spaced seashells make for the perfect pattern and cutest seaside motif. Of course it goes with out saying, that brass is fabulous and the clawfoot tub fantastic!

Because clearly this used to be a living room, with that gorgeous fireplace, beautiful wood floor, open shelving, and ceiling medallion. I love a good repurposed space...it keeps us thinking outside the box and reminds us that when it comes to creativity, the sky's the limit!

Really novel idea with the ledges. And wouldn't it be great if we all had a fireplace in front of the tub, so perfect.

Two gorgeous examples...I love the first image..I think the edging of the railing would also look great painted a different colour...white..or a lighter shade of blue. Love both rooms ..thanks for sharing x

I am such a killjoy. However pretty, all I can think of with that top pic is how much dust it would collect.

I've never seen that done before with the shelving around the entire perimeter of a room...gotta say, I'm loving it! What a cool and unusual idea!

Both bathrooms are definitely out of the ordinary. The first one is so cool and original with the seashell decoration around the room. But the second room is certainly my favorite, the flooring is amazing, and soaking right next to the fireplace? My dream come true. Thanks for the inspirational pics!

They look lovely! The star fish accents look very unique.. Although I feel sorry for the little guys. Here in Cebu, many exporters make a living out of those little sea creatures by making them into gift items. They use a lot of shells and corals too. Its pretty but you can help but feel sad for Mother Nature and our ecosystem. : /
