RESOURCE: WALLPAPER WONDERFUL

Yesterday I tweeted that I was looking for wallpaper resources (I'm planning on doing my new entryway), and this wonderland of a resource was sent to me! As an aside...further evidence that Twitter is the new Google.

Here's a quick look at some of my faves from the round-up of beauties.
I'm still on the hunt for more sites and sources, so if you have a fave, I'd love for you to leave a comment and tell me more. A girl can never have too many choices!

Floral Inspiration

I'm running with the floral thing from yesterday, so bare with me for one more flowery post!
If I had a second home somewhere in the country, I'd certainly experiment with romantic floral wallpaper just like this. It's been in my recent rotation of favorite bedrooms for that perfect blend of bold and calm. I love all the white offsetting that busy wall pattern. The little curtain hanging from the bedpost, the transparent lamp base on the nightstand, and the pops of unexpected blue on the bed also give me something to swoon over.

And this one is going straight into my 'dream office' inspiration file! It's sophisticated and calming, neutral but not boring, and romantic while staying professional. My favorite part is the pretty chevron pattern in the rug and the black in the fabric - both bring so much depth to this charming space!

Brian Atwood's Milan Home

A longtime favorite house tour of mine, here's a look inside shoe designer Brian Atwood's beautiful home in Milan. Decorated by boyfriend Nate Berkus, the mid-century modern style (albeit done well) is usually not my cup of tea. But what makes the space completely irresistible for me is...
This unforgettable palm-print wall covering! If it looks familiar that's because it's the same hallmark design found in the café of the Beverly Hills Hotel. Who would have thought, such an improbable choice would live on so vividly in the design file of my memory!

And speaking of unforgettable, thank you my sweet, sweet readers for all your warm birthday wishes yesterday. You single handedly contributed to make my day feel extra special. I'm truly lucky to have you!

Dressing Up the Walls

Aren't these Wingbud Wallpaper patterns just lovely? The soft neutrals make a perfect backdrop to any room while giving the walls a little graphic punch. Why are the Swedes so gosh darn good at design?!

Put Up Those Walls

Lately I've been inspired by rooms wrapped ceiling to floor in loud, confident wallcoverings. I think it's because it's so out of the ordinary for me. I tend to be a very controlled person and find it difficult to be spontaneous sometimes :) Perhaps that's precisely why I'm so intrigued by these images. I think it would be fun to have one bold, crazy room in the house, just like I've always dreamed of having one all white space.
