If you follow wedding and event blogs then you already know Bash, Please is the hottest team around. Based in Los Angeles and founded by the sweetest, most creative gals you'll ever meet, Paige and Kelly are true pioneers in the industry.

Tired of the stuffiness that the wedding industry is oftentimes associated with, the gals decided to host a big wedding fair that got rid of the protocol and provided an interactive and memorable experience for all. They called it Hitched and the rest is history!

In light of the overwhelming response, Paige and Kelly are taking Hitched on a nationwide tour. On January 30th they're bringing it to Palm Springs and I'm thrilled to announce that the gals have asked Rue Magazine to be part of the spectacular affair! We'll be styling and hosting the grooms lounge - think cigars and scotch, my friends.

We hope all you brides-to-be and event planners will come check it out! Not only is it going to be a blast, but the best in the industry will be there to offer you inspiring and innovative ideas. Hitched sells out fast though, so signing up early is highly recommended!

The new Nonpareil went live yesterday and never have we seen such a sweet treat as in the beauty of this editorial! Our very own Anne Sage, stylist extraordinaire and blogging sensation at The City Sage, conceptualized, produced, and styled this gracious wedding.

Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice was the inspiration behind Anne's vision, where she created a sensibility of romance and elegance, with a touch of whimsy.

Teacups and hairpieces like the ones of Austen's time are perfectly suited for today. After all, style is timeless because it always rings true.

A folding screen covered in beautiful butterfly wallpaper makes a sophisticated alternative to the usual cloth backdrop.

June Already!

Happy June! How did we get this far along in the year already? In my mind, June always marks the true beginning of summer. And with summer brings sunny dreams, beautiful blossoms, and of course wedding season! So today I thought I'd share a pretty one I recently found.

I love turning to wedding design for event and tabletop inspiration. Since the industry is full of talented stylists and taste makers, it's the perfect place to go. I tend to appreciate the classic over the trendy or thematic. After all, you'll want to love your pictures as much tomorrow as you do today. In my book, you can never go wrong with timeless.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

I'm still coming down from a dreamy weekend with my sweetie, who thoughtfully surprised me with an early Christmas gift. When I saw that iconic little blue box, I knew I'd love it. He's such a charmer!

So when I came across this 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' inspired wedding on Daniella's blog this morning, it made me think of him and smile.

This lucky couple, winner of a Martha Stewart wedding, had their reception in the one and only Tiffany's on Fifth Avenue in NYC - the famous spot where lovers go and girls dream.

From the little blue boxes and black and white photography, to the classic style and elegant beauty, it's absolutely timeless!

Color Splash

These dresses put a smile on my face. I love the idea of a brave bride and having fun with whimsical splashes of color. Wedding season is just around the corner (I've already got four on my calendar), so who knows, maybe we'll being see more of this!
