Tufted Headboards

I've decided I want my bedroom to feel luxurious, feminine, and fit for a queen. Maybe I'll paint the walls a rich, royal purple - the color of the midnight sky. Bedtime is my favorite time of the day. It's when I can travel a million miles away into a good book, and when I'm most inspired to catalog the journey of my life into my beloved journal.

So, I'm on the search for a new headboard! I've been eyeing some silk and velvet tufted ones over at Urban Outfitters. They seem to perfectly capture the look I'm going for. My absolute favorite (please go on sale soon!) is this sage, wingback headborad on top.

You and I both. I really want the upholstered bed from Z Gallerie, but its out of my price range for the moment. I'm thinking of getting the cream one from UO.

Thanks for the Z Gallerie tip! Just checked out there tufted headboard options. They got some beauties (a bit pricey though)!

HIGHLY recommend going the upholstered headboard route. I have 1 & will never go back. It's just so cozy & perfect for reading in bed. love!

Love the upholstered headboard. The second pic looks like my room: ocean blue walls, white, and black accents. It's simple. It's peace.

Looks great. I'm a designer and I use headboards that Ballard Designs have. I also recommend to all of my clients.
