Take a (furry) seat!

I adore these chairs dressed with (faux?) fur coverings and throws! They add loads of texture and look so inviting. I can imagine how plush they must feel to the touch and against my skin! This beautiful home belongs to the very talented Australian photographer, Deborah McLean, which I discovered via emmas designblogg. I'm loving the Scandinavian style her house is rocking - one of my all time favorite styles!

Sheep skins are great for sleeping babies. Car seats & cribs, both.
The wick the moisture away, so keeping them dry, and neutral; not hot, not cold. And you can pop them in the washing machine for a quick clean.

Cheers!..to a sweet siesta.

Me too, on all counts. I know we haven't "known" each other for very long but I'm sensing that we pretty much like the exact same things. In other words, I think you have exquisite taste(!) ;) I've got a couple of sheepskin on my chairs. It's especially nice in cold weather.

So inviting! I love how the chairs are elegant but at the same time rustic. And although this style hints at a lodge feel with the natural woods and fur, it incorporates enough contemporary elements that any trophy animal mounted on the wall would look dreadfully out of place (I hope!). :)

OH MY! To be perfectly honest Crystal, these images are so beautiful - this is one of my favorite posts ever. I kid you not. I adore it! I like the clean white ceiling and walls - my studio is being created as we speak and that is the plan :) The only difference is that we have finished concrete floors (looks like leather) with bits of red, yellow/green, and or course, gray and white. I'm going to be printing these images off to stick up in my office as inspiration. Thanks for such a wonderful post~

@Kinha: Glad you like!

@Bere: you're right, "chic" is the perfect word here :)
