Happy Friday! Time to Pack!

This Saturday I'll be staring the daunting task of packing - I'm moving to a new apartment in one week! The new place is one of those charming buildings you walk by a dozen times but never realize it's actually a hidden gem of apartments. My favorite part is the sun-drenched, European style interior courtyard that opens up before you like a surprise! My unit has also completely charmed me - the design wheels are turning in my little head. I can't wait to get started!

But first, a long bubble bath to relax will be in order after what is sure to be a long weekend of putting all the content of my life into boxes.

Have I mentioned before that I am in love with this bathroom?! That glossy black tub is so delicious it makes me want to run to my nearest paint supply store for a can of black lacquer. What does it for me is the classy and mysterious feel it achieves, while also staying completely down to earth and inviting. I dream of having a bathroom like this one day! And to tell you the truth, I have never really liked chevron floors...until now! I've officially been converted to the other side :)

Happy Friday everyone. Have fun! See you Monday. xoxo Crystal

PS. The lovely Ms. Jenn over at {Bits of Beauty} graciously invited me to guest blog today for her "Friday Finds" series. Head over and check it out right here :)

I love that bath too, and I think a coloured exterior looks stunning on those oldfashioned tubs. I remember Casapinka doing a wonderful pink one in a makeover lately.

Good luck with the packing and I look forward to seeing pictures of the new place, which sounds fabulous!

Best of luck in your new apartment... the courtyard sounds inviting, spaces like that make a huge difference.

I happen to have a tub just like that, which isn't connected. I bought it several years ago for a bathroom addition that hasn't happened yet... it is soooo heavy that no one wants to move it, so it sits under a French drawleaf table that I have!
