Happy Holidays from Me to You!

Well, my sweet readers, I'm officially off for the holidays and will be catching a plane soon to be home with my family! Home will greet me with the smell of pine trees and cinnamon, the taste of eggnog and panettone, a little teasing with my two big brothers, girl talks with my mom, and hugs from my dad.
My mom always does such a great job of making it feel like Christmas around the house. One of our favorite things to do is sit around the glowing Christmas tree at night with the fireplace going and talk.
What I love about being home is how there's always a fresh pot of coffee brewing, Christmas carols going, and a big smile forming on my parents' face when I stumble down the stairs to the kitchen when I wake up.
I'm also looking forward to having free time to read. Curled up in a comfy chair and warm blanket, I'm excited to make my way through two new books, The Purpose Driven Life and The Glass Castle.

Time away from our daily lives is all about having nowhere to be, no obligations to fill, and giving ourselves the space we need to truly rejuvenate...

"Take care of your soul, and your soul will take care of you."

Today I'm wishing you all lots of holiday happiness and want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your daily visits and comments. You make my day! See you Monday!

xo,
Crystal
