It is with great heartbreak and sadness that I write this post. Yesterday the design blog community learned that we lost one of our beloved members. The beautiful, intelligent, kind, funny, and talented Marija of Holding Court.
I had the great honor and privilege to meet Marija and her wonderful husband Cory not too long ago. Their smiles were infectious, their warmth permeating, and their love undeniable. Kindred spirits and new friends, we made plans to meet again.
In a heartbreaking post on Marija's blog, her courageous husband Cory informed her readers and her followers that Marija was killed in a car accident this weekend.
Let's pray that Cory, her children, and loved ones find strength when they think they've lost it, courage when they feel they can't go on, hope through the grief and sadness, and comfort in knowing that Marija is still with them, watching and protecting them from up above every moment and every hour of their days.
Marija, you will be deeply missed.

That is so incredibly heartbreaking. Her family is beautiful and it is just so sad.
The news of her passing left many yesterday with a heavy heart. The only lesson learned from this tragic accident is that life is precious, and so are our families. May her husband, children and family gain the courage necessary to survive all of this. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
So beautifully written, both your post, and Marija's husbands post; so, so sad!
