With the simplicity of this kitchen. Lots of clean lines. A muted seafoam color for the cabinetry. A free standing shelf. Lots of white dishes. And a no-fuss look make this irresistibly attainable.
It's the little things that make me happy. Like the blue ticking dish towels and industrial style flight fixture just barely visible above the plant. But my absolute favorite thing about this kitchen is all that open space above the shelf of bottles. It would have been so tempting to stick some photographs or even a painting there. The restrict to withhold speaks volumes to me.

I agree...love the open space! I am a huge fan of open space. I am trying to figure out a color to paint my kitchen and this gave me a few ideas. Happy New Year!!
I love how everything is so open & white. The bottles on top of that shelf look so pretty!! The seafoam greeen is beautiful too!! =) Just enough! =)
Melanie's Randomness
I don't know how I feel about the open space in relation to dishes. Anyone ever heard of dust? I think logic and good sense might override functionalism on this one. I guess there is the notion that there is too much flux for dust to settle, but it settles every night, and I for one do not find it very functional to wash dishes before each use. Feedback please! Madame Curmudgeon would love to have her perspective shifted with some differing good sense.
Very nice and my eyes went right to the blue and white striped ticking towel!

If you love pale seafoamy cabinetry, you might like a kitchen that was renovated for a show called "Love it or List it". I too fell in love with the subtly coloured cabinetry and posted some pics (for ogling purposes).
