I LOVE IT BECAUSE...

People often ask me who my favorite designer is, which is far too hard to answer. Easier though, is for me to answer who'd I'd hire to do my home if I could choose anyone. And that my dears, would be Darryl Carter. While I can appreciate so many styles, his soothing designs are the ones I'd want to come home to day in and day out. Here's what I'm loving about some of Darryl's spaces...
I love it because of the comforting oatmeal colored sofa, with low back no less.
Because two, simple red canvases can be impactful art and pack quite a punch.
Because of the sleek, glossy black lamp shade paired with the weathered, rustic wood.

Because of the metal caging around the sofa evoking a sense of city in his farm house.

You're right. Everything looks clean, minimal, utilitarian and generously stylish.

I love his clean eclectic style as well. He always shows a great mix of urban sophistication with the warmth of wood and rustic details.
