Isn't she a beauty? This image stopped me dead in my tracks with its dramatic lines and curves and theatrical colors and pieces.

The tulip chair sitting under that fierce wall scones is just too perfect for words. It's all about the white silhouettes popping against that dark backdrop, which is Farrow & Balls "Hague Blue." And don't you like the play on scale? We've got a tiny little flush mount ceiling fixture masterfully holding its own against all that drama below. I love.

YES. this is tops in my dining room inspiration file. i keep going back to that gorgeous wall color, and the contrast of the bright sconce. haven't honed in on the table/chairs yet, but loving the idea of a warm brown buffet with a pair of vintage statement lamps. maybe a large gilded mirror across the room to reflect the light....SEE?? this really gets me going again! love it.
