When decorating a space, doors are probably one of the last things on our mind. But as we all know, design is in the details, and each and every detail counts.
Which is why I love how these doors aren't just an after thought but actually work to be one of the most eye catching, unexpected elements in the rooms. Isn't it fun how changing a small aspect, like putting the knob front and center instead of on its side, really wakes up the eye and makes you notice it? What a clever little way to keep things interesting!
Can you think of other, simple ways to make the mundane unexpected?

You are right- we always forget about the doors, but oh what a statement they can make! I like!

I think hardware is something that makes a huge difference! It is all in the details!

I am really into doors right now....wish I had a million dollars to have these ones.
WOW this totally changed my perspective on doors.
Have always been in love with the jazzed-up center knob on doors - great photos showcasing them, Crystal! Another, perhaps even easier way to enhance a door is to paint the thin strip of the middle (depth) of the door a bold, unexpected color - only noticing the pop when the door is open.
Yes, it is all about the detail in design, and just changing out hinges and knobs or painting it a color can make a big difference on a door. But the knob location and how each are framed in take it up a notch.
Cheers,
Claudia
