Inspirational Space of the Week: 1970s Soho

Hank Azaria's Soho pad is so well done. This is scale at its best! The columns help make the large space appear more intimate by visually pocketing corners out. The low couch works in this huge room because it's balanced by the high painting above. Those oversized armchairs also add height and mass to offset the couch and add a little sense of humor at the same time.
And that Paul Frankl cork coffee table and the matching dip stool are to die for. To see more of Hank's cool 1970s pad, click here

Happy Friday! See you Monday. xoxo Crystal

Oh that's right! I knew it looked familiar. Weren't you surprised when you saw how sophisticated his digs were? Either he has amazing taste... or he genuinely trusts his (awesome) interior designer. Either way, the finished space is nothing short of grand. It has that "it's been this way forever... how nice of you to swing by with a camera crew!" appeal ;)

I saw this space too and thought it was pretty wonderful. I was suprized that he owned it, but more power to him. Love the ceilings and the personality that comes through.

I would definitely love to hang out on that couch under that great artwork and daydream an afternoon away.
