Lazy Mornings & Late Starts

Lazy mornings and late starts. Self-care and rejuvenation. This is how I'm spending my days off because soon it will be back to the grind and to-do lists. These soft hues of beige reflect the still mind and calm heart I am after.
Isn't this a lovely image? Sleeping beauty all wrapped up in warmth, sweet dreams, and the easy passage of time. This is exactly what I have in mind for my own vacation.
Speaking of vacation, a blazing fire, warm cup of coffee and good book, are all I need to feel content on this chilly Wednesday afternoon. Ah, the luxury of having nowhere to be, no one to see!
Enjoy the last few days of 2009 my dears! Let's reflect on what made it great and how we can make 2010 even better!

I love this post! I think we must be on the same wavelength because I have been wanting to do nothing more than stay home and hibernate like a little bear. :)Enjoy the rest of your time off!

I too wish I was at home in a warm blanket watching cartoons with my kiddos! However, Friday I'm off with my hubs to Nashville for 2 nights - kid free! I can't wait for my mini-vacation!

Also - I want that large rolling coffee table so bad! It's fantastic!

The woman napping in the chaise reminds me of New Years Day last year, we had such an action packed week that on New Years Day, I sat in my chaise with a fire going, a stack of books and magazines, watching the Food Network channel, it was by far the most laziest day I had ever had and it was wonderful!!

Cheers to a fabulous 2010!!

LOVE your blog and your logo, not to mention you look like you could be my younger sister :)

Have a wonderful vacation! The "Sleeping Beauty" picture is adorable... unfortunately, I can never relax like that when I'm home here in NY. Doesn't matter if I have time off or not, I literally need to go somewhere else for it to actually feel like a vacay! Again, have a great one, and Happy New Year!

Lovely photos! I feel the exact same way...we are heading off for a weekend away for the New Year and after a late night tonight I want to do nothing more than laze around for the next few days.

Happy New Year!
