Nursery Inspiration for You Moms-to-Be!

There must be something in the water because in the last few weeks I've received several emails and tweets asking for nursery inspiration from mothers-to-be. After another one on Friday, it became clear that a dedicated nursery post was definitely in order. So, I've rounded up a few of my favorites from three talented designers that I hope you'll enjoy!
This calming space belongs to Actress Minnie Driver and was created by textile designer, interiors stylist, and author Annette Tatum. The sophisticated colors and classic furniture are perfect for infancy and perfect to grow into!

I'm not surprised that the lovely Sharon Taylor created this fun space with her amazing sense of imagination and knack for style. The bold kelly green stripes and chic chandelier showcase that perfect touch of whimsy she has become known for.
Classic, inviting, and functional, Julieann Covino's designs never disappoint. Her passion for helping her clients achieve a space they truly love shines through in this space.
And as if I needed another sign that something must be in the water, Susanna Salk's new book of inspirational ideas and spaces for children comes out on Tuesday!
Update: Sharon wrote in with the resources! They're in the comments section.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! What an exciting time. My daughter is due next week with her first and my son has a 6mo old, so I'm getting used to this grandmother thing. The nursery is such an important space in the home, and these are great examples for you to be inspired by. Have fun planning!

The green and white ceiling looks like it belongs in a Kate Spade ad!

The Bright Colors in the second nursery are said to be conducive to learning in early infancy. How brilliant that the designer was able to incorporate such bold colors in what I could only call a sophisticated space.

Oh my goodness Crystal I am just now catching up on my blog reading and saw you included my clients nursery! Thank you SO much and I am glad you like it. The mix of Dwell, Serena & Lily, Blik Wall Art and furniture from Magic Beans was super fun to work with. It was a great challenge to design a twins nursery which married a boy & girl easily. Thanks again you are too sweet!
