Lighting Love

I have long been lusting after Ochre's Arctic Pear Chandelier so each time I stumble upon it, my heart skips a beat. Heart palpitations and weak knees - good design has a way of doing that to me.

I adore chandeliers for the opulence, regality, and old world allure they evoke. What draws me to this one is that it's contemporary and current without losing any of that original chandelier charm.
I also have a thing for statement pieces. I'm a firm believer that every room needs that one oversized piece to add a little wow factor to your life (and to impress your guests of course!). And this is the perfect option in my book.
It's confident without being ostentatious. It's attention grabbing without being vulgar. And it's exactly what I'd pick if I had a fabulous place to put it!

I also love that piece! I recently used a small version called "Bling" from Lightology for a client. It's very affordable and a great bedroom piece

It's exactly what I would pick if I could afford it. Although, I am quite drawn to that antiqued mirror, too. I have always loved that look.

The chandelier, and the entire room is just sumptuous. I had never seen that chandelier...but, now I am a lifelong fan too!

That's exactly what my next place needs. Never mind that it's likely to be a studio :) (And that room is just divine. I love everything about it, Ochre, and the woman behind the lens!)

OMG make it stop. I also experience tremors every time I spy one of these. And that sitting area is so deliciously simple, it crowns it perfectly.
